Let’s start here as we mean to go on; 40 St Paul’s is a gin connoisseurs paradise. With multiple awards under its belt including the country’s best gin bar – can’t really argue with that – the team at 40 St Paul’s have also created some incredible concoctions including the gin hot chocolate and their ever so popular G&T slushy. What more could you possibly want?

The Gin Vault

You’ll find The Gin Vault tucked away in Gas Street Basin

Take a stroll up towards Brindleyplace and along the way you’ll stumble across this little hidden gem. Blink and you’ll miss it, The Gin Vault has an extensive menu of gins and mixers to choose from as well as dishing out delicious tapas! It may be rather cosy inside, but The Gin Vault is a great date night venue and you’ll often be treated to live music.

Be at One | Brindleyplace and Piccadilly Arcade

Be at One Birmingham has a huge variety of gin-based cocktails

Fancy switching up your trusty G&T for something a little different? Head down to basement bar, Be At One in Piccadilly Arcade where their bartenders will mix you up a gin-based cocktail that you’re sure to love! And with 18 to choose from, you’ll be left spoilt for choice.

Simpsons Gin Bar

If you’re willing to make the short journey outside of the city centre to Solihull, then Simpsons Gin Bar is definitely worth a visit to celebrate World Gin Day. The 1920’s themed bar, which is owned by The Vamps’ Bradley Simpson and his family, will allow you to discover your brand new favourite gin tipple, brought to you by the friendly team.

The Distillery

Just a short stroll away from Arena Birmingham and Brindleyplace, The Distillery has a fantastic variety of gins for you to enjoy.

It’s got a huge beer garden which often shows some sports events on a big screen, and it’s got lovely views of the canal. While you’re there, why not tuck into some delicious food from the bar snacks or dinner menu, including stone-baked pizzas and loads more. Take a look here!
